Measures, robot apart, formulas, and a bridge

Today, we are measuring this wood with a ruler.
We wrote 5 different dimensions used to measure things.

We put 7 things of how to measure it.

Prof. Mason wants us to dismantle our robots to put them back in the box.

After our break, we tried to solve the formula of the units for modulus of elasticity and the other is the heat transfer rate q.
He asked us to guess of how big is in this classroom.

We estimate the difference of a sumo wrestler and a model of their foot. To see the difference
of density and surface. We choose sumo wrestler because the force is so much density.

We think of something that relates a 6 in., so we chose subway sandwich for an example.

 We measure the soda can.

We measure the volume of the can was 374 cm3, and it was overestimate of -30 cm3

He was testing the same result by filling the water.

Our next activity was to build a bridge with 30 pieces of spaghetti and 2 hot glue to design and fabricate a bridge that can span 8" and hold 100 kg mass to 700 kg mass.

First test: 100 Kg

Second test: 300 kg
Third test: 500 kg
Others did not pass it.
Fourth test: 600 kg
Some of them have made it.
Fifth test: 700 kg
My group have made a good process.
Final test: 1,000 kg

We completed the bridge, but it snap at the moment; however, we made a record.
